Jazz Tiger showcases a blend of genres, taking inspiration from slowcore and alternate indie from the eras of late 90s and early 2000s and putting out their own interpretation of this time into their music. Starting in 2022, Jazz Tiger started playing shows with like minded artists in Melbourne, releasing their first EP through Team Glasses Records in early 2023. Following this release, after truly finding their sound with a strong slowcore feel and pretty tones, Jazz Tiger are now preparing to release their first album ‘Shooting Stars In My Blind Spot” on False Peak Records.
Batemans Bay is based on a long trip interstate, travelling to a wedding. It details the intrinsic thoughts on the complexities, dedication and commitment to someone you love forever. Delving into if love is forever, how the current challenges and complexities of everyday life can have an impact on this love and whether a marriage can withstand this pressure in modern times and whether anyone else at the ceremony feels this way or am I alone in this thought process?
